Our Community
The Central Okanagan School District is comprised of four communicites: Peachland, West Kelowna, Kelowna, and Lake Country.
Majestic mountains, refreshing waters and lush orchards, add up to one of the countries most desireable locations to live - the Central Okanagan, located in BC’s beautiful Okanagan Valley.
In the summer swim and stroll the beaches. During the fall, harvest time, you can pick the freshest, juiciest fruit. From hiking, biking and boating to skiing, boarding and snowmobiling, every season holds promise. For golfers, Kelowna offers one of the longest and driest seasons in Canada. When your parents come to visit they can tour the orchards when they’re in full bloom.
Year-round, you can take in countless celebrations and festivals. Kelowna is at the heart of BC’s Okanagan wine region and boasts amazing Wine Festivals featuring internationally recognized wines. With museums, art galleries, unique shops, and wonderful restuarants, you can't go wrong when you decide to come to the Central Okanagan.
